More and more studies have associated vitamin D deficiency and severity of multiple sclerosis.  High dose vitamin D is not only safe but also reduces the relapse rates in MS patient. 15 minutes of sun exposure can equal 5 days of oral supplement.  All MS patient should have their vitamin D and calcium level checked.
 
FDA has approved Ampyra (dalfamprodine) ER to improve walking in patients with MS. Please note that only a small percentage of patients benefit from this drug.  Most common side effects include seizures, urinary tract infection, insomnia, dizziness, headache, nausea, etc..  Patient with renal disease should be monitored closely.  The drug is available through the manufacturer.  Special form has to be filled out.  We can help you with this form.

Dabigatran reduced risk of stroke 34% better than warfarin in patients with A-fib. This drug however is NOW approved for use in USA by FDA.
