About Denise Butler

Denise Butler is a Family Nurse Practitioner who was raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. She enlisted in the United States Army and served as a combat medic in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Upon honorable discharge, she moved to the DFW area to attend nursing school. She graduated with an Associate of Science in Nursing from Brookhaven College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. Denise spent 15 years in the intensive care unit caring for critically ill patients with acute and chronic illnesses.

She graduated from Maryville University with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2018 and is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Denise enjoys building relationships with her patients and working together to develop a plan of care most appropriate for the patient.

Her and her husband happily married and have two children, Grayson and Olivia. Denise enjoys yoga, reading, and relaxing on the beach.
